A ceremony to inaugurate a concrete road constructed by village development project (VDP) in Khin Mon village, Chaung-U Township, Monywa District, Sagaing Region was held this morning.

On the occasion, MP U Myo of Chaung-U Township Pyithu Hluttaw, MP U Win Myint Khin of Sagaing Regional Hluttaw and chairman U Aung Baw of Township Management Committee gave opening remarks and an official from the Monywa District Rural Development Department clarified the procedures of VDP. Then, U Myo Min, chairman of Khin Mon village VDP committee expressed words of thanks. 

Afterwards, the ceremony was opened by MPs of Hluttaw, chairman of Township Management Committee, officials from the Rural Development Department and Khin Mon village administrator.

The new facility which is 1570 feet long, 10 feet wide and 6 inches high was constructed with K 10 million funded by VDP and over K 9.8 million contributed by public.
