The Township Dry Zone Greening Department under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation donated A1 stoves to the locals at the Basic Education High School of Chai village, Chai village-tract in Yenangyaung Township, Magway region yesterday. 
    

While talking about the donation, Forester Win Tint Tun detailed the need for environmental conservation and increased use of other sources of fuel instead of firewood. Then, officials from the department gave 10 A1 stoves to the attendants who won the draw for the stoves.
    

A1 stoves have been monthly given to three villages at a rate of 10 stoves per village. A total of 360 A1 stoves will be given to villages in the township in 2019, according to Junior Officer U Kyaw Htay.— Ko Gyi Soe
