Yinmabin, 4 April
A Myanmar traditional bullock-cart race was held in Lengat Village, Yinmabin Township in Sagaing Region and the event was categorized into three classes, said an event organizer.

The intention of the event is to preserve Myanmar's indigenous livestock and poultry, rise animal's value and hold a get-together for cattle breeders in order to exchange their views on poultry technology. It is also celebrated as a funfair for farmers after their harvest season.
“We classify the Myanmar traditional bullock-cart race into three types. We will present awards to prize winners after the contest as the number of participants has decreased when compared to previous years,” said U Hsan Win, member of the Myanmar traditional bollock-cart race organizing committee.
