Police members from Kalinaung Police Outpost on 6 April searched the house of Shwe Htoke in Kywetalin Village, Lawthaing village-tract in Yebyu Township, Dawei District in Taninthayi Region and seized 15 stimulant pills, two hand-made guns, 50 bullets, 11 magzines, a percussion lock firearm and its 40 bullets.

Similarly, policemen from Yangon (East) Anti-Drug Squad-41 on 7 April intercepted a vehicle driven by Zaw Win Naing (a) Stiven near City Mart Supermarket, Thamaing junction, Ward-2, Mayangon Township, Yangon Region and seized five grams of ICE stimulant drugs, two stimulant tablets and a mobile phone from him.

As a result of investigation, authorities continued searching in the house of Zaw Win Naing (a) Stiven on Padauk Myaing Road in Ward-3, Mayangon Township and seized 1.15 grams of ICE stimulant drugs and 4800 stimulant tablets.

The authorities filed charges against the two under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.—MPF
