A ceremony to present land use certificate (form-7) to farmers took place at a ward administrator’s office in Pyinmamyaing Ward, Kyunhla Township, Sagaing Region this morning.

Firstly, Pyithu Hluttaw Representative U Tun Win gave a speech and township NLD vice-chairman U Nyunt Tin explained matters relating to applying for the land use certificate (form-7). A ward administrator spoke words of thanks, saying some farmlands belonging to local farmers were confiscated when Thanphanseik Dam was constructed. Substitute farmlands were returned to farmers for their confiscated land plots by the government.

The lawmakers and local authorities replied to queries raised by those present and presented land use certificates to 76 farmers for 481.45 acres of farmlands in total.—Myo Win Nyo (Kyunhla)
