An opening ceremony of “Swaltawyeik” highway bus station was held in Myoma Market Ward, Nawnkio Township, Northern Shan State this morning.

Shan State Minister for Road and Communications U Khun Ye Htwe, Shan State Lawmaker U Myint Swe, and Deputy Township Administrator U Htay Lin Aung opened the highway bus station by cutting a ceremonial ribbon.

The highway buses from Muse, Lashio, PyinOoLwin, Mandalay and Yangon will be able to make stop-over at the newly-launched bus station.—IPRD
