A basic firefighting course was opened at a fire services station in Indaw Township, Sagaing Region this morning.

At the ceremony, Township Deputy Administrator U Kyaw Soe Thein gave a speech and the commander of the township fire brigade U Hla Myo Lwin explained the aim of the course. On behalf of the township oil entrepreneurs association, a trainee from “Shwe Myanmar” filling station spoke words of thanks.

The 12-day training course is being attended by 20 trainees from the filling stations throughout the township.—Ko Min
