An advanced English proficiency course, organized by Dawei District Rural Development Department, was opened this morning at the District Rural Development Department in Dawei, Taninthayi Region.

At the event, U Kyaw Kyaw Aung, Deputy Director of the Region Rural Development Department, delivered an opening speech. Afterwards, U Than Tun Oo, acting staff officer of the District RDD said that the aim of the course is to help improve the capability and English speaking skills of public service personnel.

The three-month English proficiency course is being attended by 15 public service personnel from the townships in Dawei District. The course started from 22 April and will came to an end on 22 July.—U Kyaw Kyaw Lat, Dawei IPRD
