Hailing the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, an essay contest was held at a community center in Yinmabin Township, Sagaing Region this morning.

Before the competition, an official from the Information and Public Relations Department under the Ministry of Information explained rules to be followed by the participants. A total of 56 students from public schools and private schools throughout the township took part in the contest titled, “Stay away from drug hazard”.

The event is held with the aim of disseminating the students with knowledge and uplifting their morale and morality.—Than Htay Aung (Kani)
