Mong Hsat, 30 April

Public awareness campaign on prevention of human trafficking, organized by Shan State Women Affairs Association, was held at the meeting hall of the Township Administration Department in Mong Hsat, Shan State (East).    

First of all, Acting Chairperson of Shan State Women’s Affairs Association Daw Nyo Nyo Lwin delivered an opening speech and then, Police Inspector Myint Oo from the Township Police Station and Daw Yi Yi Maw, of the Township Women’s Affairs Association explained the purpose of public awareness on prevention of human trafficking.

Afterwards, Patron of Shan State Women’s Association Daw Nan Shwe Myint and relevant officials answered queries raised by those present on the occasion.
