Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department handed over goats to breeders at a ceremony held in the congregation hall of East Khansatgone village in Natogyi Township, Myingyan district, Mandalay region this morning. The handover of the goats came about under one of Myaseinyaung projects aimed at producing meats.
At the event, Dr. Thein Naing, deputy head of Mandalay Region Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department talked about local goat breeding for meat production. Then, officials handed over 300 goats to breeders, giving the goats vaccinations.
Also present at the ceremony were head of Myingyan district Livestock and Veterinary Department, deputy township administrator U Zaw Naing Oo and local goat breeders.—Than Aung Zaw (IPRD)
