Outstanding students arrived in Pindaya, Danu Self-Administered Zone, Shan State (South) on an excursion this morning.

A total of 177 outstanding students accompanied by Shan State Education Officer U Win Maung and 18 teachers paid respects to ancient historical Shwe Oo Min Natural Cave Pagoda and visited Konlon monastery. In addition, the outstanding students who examined the Danu traditional bamboo umbrella and Shan paper industries were welcomed by members of Danu Self-Administered Zone, the Township Administrator, departmental personnel, Danu ethnic people, teachers and students.

In addition, they were served luncheon by Pindaya Township Education Officer and teachers under the Banyan trees, east of Ponetalote Lake. Member of Danu Self-Administered Zone U Nyi Lay Chan presented souvenirs to the outstanding students and one of the outstanding students spoke words of thanks to those who fulfilled the needs of the excursion tour.
