Monywa 9 May 

Fire broke out in Monywa poultry farm zone near Kyauksisbonetaung village in Monywa, Sagaing Region at about 11 am on 8 May.

Officials from regional Fire Services Department, 190 firefighters, 37 members of MPF and 150 staff from the poultry farms put out the fire using 23 fire engines and 10 water tankers. The fire was extinguished at about 4:30 pm.
 
The fire started from the poultry farm of U Tin Maung Htwe and it consumed a total of 20 houses, 34 poultry farms and 10135 chickens. 

Sagaing Regional Chief Minister and party rushed to the scene and inspected the cause of the fire. Win Oo (Zeyartine)
