SPEAKER of the Amyotha Hlut-taw,  Mahn  Win  Khaing  Than,  received a delegation led by Ms. Pauline  Ng,  the  former  Secre-tary  General  of  Hong  Kong’s  Legislative Council Secretariat, at the Amyotha Hluttaw’s guest hall in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

The  delegation  came  to  report  on  the  results  of  the  workshops  on  Hluttaw  task  management  programmes  by  UNDP/IPU.

During their meeting, they openly  discussed  the  emer-gence  of  a  modern  and  devel-oped  Myanmar  Hluttaw,  the  management  processes  of  the  Hluttaw,  upgrading  the  skills  of Hluttaw representatives and Hluttaw office staff, and contin-ued support. —MNA  (Translated  by  Zaw  Htet  Oo)
