The committee for Supporting Peace and Stability in Rakhine State held separate meetings with political parties, experts and members of the Rakhine State Cabinet at the Rakhine State Government’s Guest House in Sittway, Rakhine State yesterday.

 

U Aye Tha Aung, Chairman of Committee on Supporting Peace and Stability in Rakhine State, who is alos the Deputy Speaker of the Amyotha Hluttaw, met with the representatives of National League for Democracy (NLD) at 8 a.m., the representatives of Arakan League for Democracy (ALD) at 9 a.m., the representatives of the Arakan National Party (ANP) at 10 a.m., the representatives of Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) at 11 a.m., the experts at 2 p.m. and members of the Rakhine State Government at 4.10 p.m. respectively.

 

Together with Chairman of the Committee at the meeting were Committee’s Vice Chairman and Rakhine State Chief Minister U Nyi Pu, Committee members, Deputy Minister U Tin Myint, Deputy Attorney-General U Win Myint, Rakhine State Minister Col Phone Tint, Yangon Region Minister for Rakhine Ethnic Affairs U Zaw Aye Maung, Rtd.

 

Deputy Minister U Nyi Hla Nge, Police Maj-Gen Aung Naing Thu, Rakhine State Hluttaw representatives, Deputy Ministers U Aung Hla Tun and U Soe Aung, Secretary of State Government U Sai Thaw Win and officials.
