New school structures are under construction in Kyunhla Township, Sagaing Region with the Union Budget in the fiscal year 2018-2019, according to a source from the township education officer’s office.

11 two-storey facilities measuring 90 ft. in length and 30 ft. in width are being built in 11 villages by two private construction companies. The Department of Education gave a green light to Aung Zeyar Kyaw Co and Myanmar New Energy Co to build new schools in the township through tender competition system.
Officials from the township management committee, the township quality inspection committee and the Department of Education made a field trip to check out work progress whether to timely completion of the projects.—Myo Win Nyo (Kyunhla)
