Bago Regional Chief Minister U Win Thein inspected the storm affected areas in Yedashe Township on 14 May.

The strong winds that hit villages in Yedashe Township caused roofs of houses and school buildings to flip over. Therefore, the Regional Chief Minister went to Khin-tan-gyi and Zee-oat villages in Yedashe Township and spoke words of encouragement to storm victims who lost their houses. Next, he also said the Township Administrator to make a list of houses that were destroyed and to repair the houses as soon as possible.

Next, the Regional Chief Minister also observed the construction of roads and bridges that are being implemented by the Township Development Committee and gave instruction to the officials to meet the target date.
