A ceremony to open a multi-purpose hall was held in Kanyinmyaing Village, Mogaung Township in Kachin State yesterday.
The village hall was built by the Department of Rural Development under the third phase of its community-centered project. The hall was inaugurated by the Pyithu Hluttaw Representative Daw Mya Thway San, Director of the Department of Rural Development U Zaw Zaw Naung, Township Administrator U Aung Min Htoo and Chairperson of the village-tract project supportive committee Daw Khin Htay Oo by cutting a ceremonial ribbon.
The village hall is 90 ft. long, 30 ft. wide and 13 ft. high. The hall including a fence and a restroom was built at a cost of more than Ks. 60 million funded under the community-centered project and contributed by local people.—Win Aung
