MYANMAR’S Victoria University College (VUC) F.C. will compete in the Asian Futsal Club Champi-onship 2019 in Thailand, accord-ing to a statement released yes-terday by the Myanmar Football Federation.The VUC F.C. finished second in the MFF Myanmar Futsal League 2018, and now, they will participate in the Asian Futsal Club Championship 2019, which will be held at the Futsal Are-na Indoor Stadium in Bangkok from 7 to 17 August. The drawing ceremony for deciding the team placements for the group stage will be held at the headquarters of the Asian Football Confederation on 27 June, the MFF stated.

The VUC F.C., which will rep-resent Myanmar, has been placed in Pot 4 for the drawing ceremony.

Besides Myanmar, 15 teams are competing in the champion-ship: host Thailand’s Son Nam F.C., Iran’s Mes Sungun Varzeqau F.C., Viet Nam’s Thai Son, Leba-non’s Bank of Beirut F.C., Iraq’s Naft Al Wasat F.C., Japan’s Na-goya Oceans F.C., Indonesia’s Vamos F.C., Kyrgyzstan’s Erem F.C., UAE’s Al-Dhafra Sport and Cultural Club, China’s Shenzhen Nanling Tielang F.C., Qatar’s Al Rayyan F.C., Kyrgyzstan’s Sors Company F.C., Uzbekistan’s AGMK F.C., South Korea’s Star FS Seoul F.C., and Kuweit’s Ka-zma F.C.—Lynn Thit (Tgi)
