A 33/11 KV, 100MVA electric power distribution station is being constructed to distribute electricity to Nyaungmyint village and other 34 villages in Meiktila Township.

The construction started on 19 May by Asia General Electric Co., Ltd and it will be completed in September.

Upon completion, it will bring electricity to villages without electricity in Nyaungmyint, Shwe-pan-daing, Khin-tae, Mauk-lauk and Kangyi village-tracts in Meiktila Township.
