Yangon United announced the signing of Nigerian player Ebimo West Anderson with the club for the second round of 2019.
Anderson said “I started my career in Nigeria and couple of year in Australia, Vietnam and now in Myanmar and I am familiar with the Myanmar clubs. Then I won Charity Cup and Knock out Champions with Ayeywady United in 2015. So I come here to be part of the team to make the successful history. For this reason, I am ready to play for the great team”. Anderson, 29, defender has got experiences with Myanmar football playing in Ayeyawady United where he won the trophy of General Aung San Shield 2015, Rakhine United in 2017, Zwekapin United in 2018 and 2019.
Anderson said, “It is a great feeling to be here and most of the players want to play in this best team. So, I am here for the great team to play as much as I can”. He continued, “What I want to promise the fans is that I will give my best for Yangon United. And to improve and win every game, I will make the fans pride and make our club owner, president, coaches and teammates as well as the fans to be happy. I am sure I will make them happy not to regret my signing”.
For the coming match against Sagaing United, he will start making appearance with the team in the semifinal (first leg) of General Aung San Shield 2019 at Monywa stadium.—By Kyaw Htike Soe
