Union Minister of Construction U Han Zaw inspected 170 ft long Nga Moe Yeik Creek Bridge on Ngarzu Taung- Kyar Einn- Kan Ne-Phaung Gyi Road in Hlegu Township, Yangon Region, yesterday morning. The officials detailed assembly of bridge bow and future work progressions.

 


He instructed to build the bridge up to standard for the countryfolk to commute with ease, and then he look around the site.

 


Afterwards, the Union Minister and his entourage proceeded to inspect maintenance of Yangon- Nay Pyi Taw section of Yangon- Mandalay highway and maintenance of 990 ft Ka Paung Creek Bridge between Mile stone 145/0 and 145/3 and progress of preventing it from landslide.

 


Then, he gave necessary instruction to the officials.

 


Subsequently, the Union Minister went on to inspect condition of renovated 810 ft long Swar Creek Bridge which went low due to natural disaster. The bridge located between milestone 165/1 and 165/3. It was said to be in use for motor vehicles from 28th February .

 


Now that Swar Creek Bridge renovation has completed and people can commute with ease in short time. —MNA (Translated by Alphonsus)
