Service remains suspended on an automated train system in Yokohama, near Tokyo, after a weekend accident, inconveniencing many commuters.
On Saturday evening, a driverless train shifted into reverse and hit a buffer at Shin-Sugita, the terminal station for the Seaside Line. The collision injured 14 people.
Lines at the station extended for more than 200 meters.
A 29-year-old company employee said he would be more than 30 minutes late for work. He said he wants the cause of the accident to be fully investigated.
Investigators from the government's transport safety board are examining key devices for its automated operation, including those mounted under the train's floor.
