Mong Nai, 3 June

A man was killed in a head-on collision between a vehicle and a motorbike that happened near Mile posts 44 on Mong Nai-Namsan Road in Shan State yesterday.

A vehicle which was on its way from Namsan, driven by Ye Win Tun collided head-on with a motorbike driven by Sai Naw from the town of Mong Nai.  Sai Naw was sent to a nearby hospital for medical treatment and died of his injuries in the hospital.

Authorities filed charges against the two for their careless driving.—U Myo Nyunt Shwe, Township IPRD
