Two people were killed and 14 others injured after a passenger bus overturned in Muse Township, Northern Shan State on 14 June.
    

The accident happened between mileposts 278/1 and 278/2 on the Muse-Lashio Union Highway near Auttonkhan Village, Muse Township at about 8:05 a.m. on 14 June. The passenger bus driven by a man identified as Zaw Min Thein, 34 years old plunged into a sugarcane plantation after the driver lost control of the vehicle. Two men including the bus conductor died on the spot and 14 others were slightly hurt in the incident. 
    

The injured people were transferred to a public hospital in Muse and the passenger bus driver is being questioned over reckless driving by the police.—MOHA
