The Ministry of Transport and Communications will celebrate the 12th anniversary of the Nay Pyi Taw Central Post Office at 9 a.m. on 27 June in Nay Pyi Taw.

The Nay Pyi Taw Central Post Office was launched on 27 June, 2007. It is situated on the Pyinmana-Taungnyo Road in Zabuthiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw Region.

The Ministry of Transport and Communications has set up 1,390 post offices across Myanmar, and they provide not just postal services, but also additional services using IT, including financial services through banking agents, delivery services for online shopping businesses, and sale of e-tickets for the Myanmar National Airlines.

For the anniversary celebrations, the Nay Pyi Taw Central Post Office and stamp collectors will jointly hold a stamp exhibition and sale of commemorative envelopes, stamps, and scarcity stamps. Admission to the event will be free. –
