The Mindon Township Agriculture Department conducted an inspection of corn fields around Zeetaw and Minywakine villages of the township, located in Magway Region, for FAW (Fall Army Worm) infestation at 10 a.m. on 24 June.

Officials from the department discussed ways and techniques to control FAW with local farmers after it was discovered in the corn fields during the inspection.
