A ceremony to wrap up an instructor training course on informal primary education at zonal level for informal primary education programs for 2019-2020 academic year, organized by Informal and Life Long Education Department under the ministry of Education.

 

At the event, U Aung Soe, person in charge of the training course made a presentation about the review of the training and then, responsible persons for the training course at national level and Yangon region Education Officer’s office presented outstanding trainees with awards. Then, Chairman Dr. Than Oo gave cash awards to Ma Thet Phu Ngon and handed over cash awards for ten other schoolchildren to supervisor U Soe Myint. The cash awards given were provided by Myanmar Literacy Contributory Center for students who have passed matriculation examination-2019 after completing informal primary education.

 

Then, on behalf of the trainees, Daw Thida San from Pyi Township shared the training experience and spoke words of thanks. After vice chairman Dr. Tin Nyo gave a word of honor, the ceremony was closed with a song titled “Today for Children” performed by the trainees. 

 

Similarly, the closing ceremonies of the training courses at zonal levels, attended by a total of 249 trainees, were held in the towns of Mandalay and Mawlamyine,.—MNA Translated by Khine Thaw.
