22 senior citizens in Thandaung Town, Kayin State have been furnished with social pension by departmental staff on 1 July.

A group of local authorities consisting of ward administrators, members of the town-level women’s affairs association, and the General Administration Department presented Ks. 30,000 each to 22 elderly people who are above 85 years old from Ward-4 through door-to-door system. The cash assistance was presented to elderly people once in three months.—IPRD
