The 3rd Myanmar International Education Fair was held at the Hotel Mandalay in Mandalay this morning.

The event was formally opened by Mandalay Regional Minister for Shan Ethnic Affairs U Sai Pan Hsai, the project officer from European Union Delegation to Myanmar, Mr. Takashi Kawasaki, Director of the Macro Computer Myanmar Co Ltd, Chairman of Canadian School Myanmar U Aung Zaw Myint, Founder of the KMC High School Sayar U Khin Maung Cho and Director of Dagon Exhibition Limited U Aung Aung by cutting a ceremonial ribbon.

Next, the regional minister and his entourage viewed round the booths being displayed inside the hall. The event is being held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on 2-3 July along with seminars and consultations. A total of 28 booths are showcasing periodicals ranging from engineering and medicine to civil aviation.—Than Zaw Min (IPRD)
