With a view to creating job opportunities for rural people, a sewing course, organized by the Department of Rural Development, was opened at the assembly hall in Lepandan Village, Tharyawady Township, Bago Region yesterday.
First of all, the region MP Daw Mu Mu Khin delivered a message. Afterwards, staff officer of the District DRD U Than Lwin clarified the purpose of the training course and called on the trainees to practically apply the lessons learned in the training to generate more income for their families.
Afterwards, a trainee spoke words of thanks on behalf of the trainees. The training course which will run from July 1 to 30 is being attended by 25 trainees.
Also present on the occasion were the region MP Mu Mu Khin , officials from Township GAD and the District DRD, departmental officials, course instructor and trainees.–Nyein Thu
