Chaung-U, 4 July 

A ceremony to open a new concrete road, built under village development project of the township Rural Development was held in Bonto village, Chaung-U district, Monywa district, Sagaing region this morning.

At the ceremony, MP U Myo of Pyithu Hluttaw and MP U Kyaw San of the region Hluttaw made opening speechs, followed by a presentation about village development programs. The new concrete road was built with a VDP fund of K 10 million and voluntary contribution by the people in the village.

It is 300 feet long, 16 feet wide and six feet high, according to Daw Khin Soe Win of the department.—Ei Ei Aung ( Chaung-U)
