Wetlet 5 July

A ceremony to hand over a sub-rural health center was held at Hmathti village, Wetlet Township, Shwebo District, Sagaing Region this morning.

MP U Myint Thein of Township Pyithu Hluttaw, MP U Maung Maung Win of the regional Hluttaw, Dr. Thant Zin Latt from Public Health Department and village administrator formally opened the ceremony. Next, MPs of Hluttaw gave remarks and Dr. Thant Zin Latt also shared health knowledge with the attendees at the ceremony.

The health facility which is 60 ft in length, 20 ft in width and 12 ft in height was constructed with K 2.5 million allocated by regional Hluttaw and K 3.2 million contributed by public.  The archway and furniture for the center were donated by U Win San and his wife Daw Moe in the village.

A total of 150 local residents including MP of Hluttaw and departmental personnel were in attendance.
