Ngathainggyoung, 8 July
A tailoring course was opened in conjunction with a cash donation to disabled people at Amyotha Hall in Ngathainggyoung Township, Ayeyawady Region this morning.

At the ceremony, Regional Minister for Social Affairs Dr. Hla Myat Thwe delivered an address. Next, the deputy director of the Social Welfare Department and the deputy township administrator detailed the purpose of the course and cash presentation to the people with disabilities. Then the regional minister handed over cash provided by the government to the disabled people through an official. A total of more than Ks. 30.7 million were furnished to 1,024 disabled people in the township.
Next, a tailoring course jointly organized by the Department of Social Welfare and the town elders was opened at the peasant’s office. The one-month training course is being attended by 20 trainees.—Soe Min Oo (IPRD)
