Maubin 9 July

Strong winds hit villages in Maubin Township, Ayeyawady Region, tearing down 44 houses to the ground and blowing away the roofs of 46 houses.

With the arrangement of village administrator, a total of 370 local residents from 90 households were evacuated to safety places such as nearby monasteries and their relatives’ homes. No casualties were reported in the incident.
