Pinlebu, 11 July

With a view to creating job opportunities and boosting income for rural people, the Department of Rural Development organized a sewing course at its office in Pinlebu, Sagaing Region yesterday.

First of all, U Min Naung, Pyi Thu Hluttaw Representative delivered an opening speech and U Win New, staff officer of Kawlin District DRD clarified the purpose of the course. Afterwards, course instructor introduced the subjects to be taught to the trainees and explained about the purpose of the course.

Next, staff officer of the Township DRD U Thet Htun Zaw handed over teaching aids to the training. The one-month training course is being attended by 10 trainees from villages in the Township.

Also present on the occasion were Pyi Thu Hluttaw Representative, chairman of the Township management committee, staff officer of the District DRD, staff officer of the Township DRD and staff, departmental officials, course instructor and trainees.—Myo Lwin (Pinlebu)
