Nay Pyi Taw, July 11

Anti-Corruption Commission received a complaint against Twantay township administrator Moe Khaing Tun and members of alledgely taking service charges and unlawful interests abusing power invested in them. 

According to the complaint, the commission formed an investigation to probe into the case. 

The investigation yielded up that the townshio administrator Moe Khaing T has taken K 500, 000 for a person applying for DIA alcohol license, K 150, 000 from a person applying for CFL-2 license, permit for selling a kind of intoxicating brew and K 200, 000 from  a person who received alcohol license. 

Corruption charges was brought against the township administrator Moe Khaing Tun under section 56 of anti-corruption law, it is learnt. MNA
