A ceremony to present temporary land use certificate (Form-3) to the rightful owners was held the meeting of the General Administration Department in Tiddim, Chin State yesterday.

At first, Chief Minister of Chin State U Salai Lian Luai delivered an address and the secretary of the local government U Toe Win explained procedures regarding to returning relinquished lands and presenting temporary land use certificates. Afterwards, the chief minister and concerned officials presented temporary land use certificates to the rightful owners. On behalf of the farmers, a local spoke words of thanks.

The ceremony was also attended by Chin State Minister for Agriculture, Livestock, Forestry and Mines U Hen Mang Dai, Chin State Minister for Social Affairs U Pau Lun Min Thang, Chin State Minister for Municipal Affairs, Electricity and Industry U Soe Htet, lawmakers, departmental staff and locals.—IPRD
