The Information and Public Relations Department and the Department of Basic Education jointly organized an impromptu contest marking the 72nd anniversary Martyrs’ Day in Gangaw Township, Magway Region this morning.
    

First, an official from the IPRD gave a speech and the chairman of a local book club explained rules to be followed by the participants.  A total of 23 students from different schools in the township took part in the competition with the support of more than 200 students and teachers. 
    

The prize awarding ceremony of the contest will be held on 19 July at the office of the Information and Public Relations Department.—IPRD
