The inauguration of an upgraded school was held in conjunction with a handing over of a new school structure donated by Angel Photo Family in Yaytwingone Village, Minbu Township in Magway Region this morning.

The new school facility was formally opened by Regional Chief Minister Dr. Aung Moe Nyo, regional MPs U Kyaw Swan Yi and U Kyaw Ngwe, Deputy Director of the Department of Education U Htein Win, Deputy Commissioner U San Htay and U Kyi Soe, the donor by cutting a ceremonial ribbon. Next, the regional chief minister and the regional lawmaker delivered addresses. The deputy director of the Department of Education then spoke words of thanks and the donor explained the purpose of the school building.

The school facility is of steel structure and measures 90 ft. in length and 30 ft. in width. It was constructed at a cost of Ks. 55 million by the donor family. Afterwards, the donor family handed over documents relating to the school facility to Township Education Officer U Kyi Lwin. The students also performed entertainment to the audiences.

Also present on the occasion were the chief of district police force Police Lt-Col Nyi Win, Township Administrator U Thein Zaw Kan, teachers, students and locals totaling about 350.—Kyaw Soe Win (Minbu)
