The Hluttaw Offices held a monsoon tree planting event for 2019 in the Hluttaw compound in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

At first, Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker U T Khun Myat, Pyithu Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Tun Tun Hein and Amyotha Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Aye Tha Aung planted Mesua ferrea saplings at their designated places.

Following this, officials from the Hluttaw offices and public service personnel planted Eugenia, Mesua ferrea, star-flower, golden shower and gold mohur saplings.—MNA
