Dr Pe Myint, Union Minister for Information, received Mr Lee Sang-hwa, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Myanmar. The minister also held a separate meeting with Daw Nan Saw Htwe, Chief Executive Officer from YTV and Mr Yu Lei, Deputy General Manager from Yunnan TV, yesterday at his office.

During the meeting with the Korean ambassador, they cordially discussed matters related to collaboration in media sector between the two countries, enhancing cooperation in film sector, and sending media representatives to 2019 Kwanhun-KPF Press Fellowship Programme to be held from 7 to 31 October. During the meeting with CEO Daw Nan Saw Htwe and Deputy General Manager Mr Yu Lei, the two sides discussed matters related to the development of television sector and collaboration in new media. —MNA (Translated by TTN)
