A ceremony to open B.E.P.S-4 was held at the school in Ward-4, Mahlaing, Meiktila District, Mandalay Region this morning.

First of all, Dr Zaw Myint Maung, Chief Minister of Mandalay Region, Daw Than Myint, deputy Director-General of Mandalay Region Education officer’s Office and the region Hluttaw representatives cut a ribbon to open the new school.

Afterwards, Chief Minister Dr Zaw Myint Maung delivered an opening speech and members of school development committee clarified the purpose of construction of the school and delivered notes of thanks to concerned officials.

The school that measures 100 feet in length and 30 feet in height was built with about K. 55.5 million. The school was made up of 12 rooms and three rooms to be used as class rooms.

Afterwards, Chief Minister and officials met with relevant officials and locals at the hall Panhlaing Shwewar in the Town of Mahlaing.—Kyaw Kyaw(Mahlaing)
