Mawlamyine Kyun, 3 August

With a view to creating job opportunities for rural people, the Department of Rural Development under Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation organized a sewing course at the hall of its office in the town of Mawlamyin Kyun, Ayeyawady Region this morning.

First of all, U Myint Hlaing Htay, Administrator of the Township GAD delivered an opening speech. Afterwards, an official from the DRD clarified the purpose of the course and urged the trainees to practically apply the lessons learned in the training to generate more income in their families. 

The one-month training course is being attended by 20 trainees from villages in the Township, according to DRD of Mawlamyine Kyun.—Kyaw Kyaw (Mahline)
