Strong wind hit Nitone Village in Kyaikmaraw Township, Mawlamyine District, Mon State at 11:30 pm on 2 August and flipped over the roofs of eight houses and destroyed two houses.

But no injuries were reported.

State Hluttaw representative Daw Khin Myo Myint, officials from the Township Natural Disaster Management Committee and responsible persons presented the relief items to the storm victims in the village.—Cho Myat Myat Htway, Kyaikmaraw
