Shan-Ywa-Thit 9 August

An approach road to Moebyan Birdge on Hlaingbwe-Shan-Ywa-Thit route in Hpa-an District, Kayin State is being renovated due the erosion of flash flood at 9:30 pm on 5 August.

Due to the flash flood, the approach road which measures 9 ft in length and 20 ft in width collapsed. Consequently, officials from the Department of Highways and military personnel carried out the repair of the road starting from 7 August. As a result, traffic resumed starting this morning, according to the Shan-Ywa-Thit Department of Highways.
