Taungdwingyi, August 15 

A malaria prevention course, jointly organized by Myanmar Red Cross Association and UNOPS/GF, was opened at the office of the township Red Cross Association in Taungdwingyi township, Magway region this morning. 

First, U Maung Maung Htay, chairman of the township RCA made an opening speech, followed by a presentation about the aim of the course by the person-in-charge of the course from people- oriented malaria prevention project. 

The two-day course will be attended by a total of 30 trainees from villages in the township.—Naing Win ( Taungdwingyi)
