A clash between Myanmar military and northern alliance armed group happened on 15 August in Nawnghkio Township, Shan State (North) and the Gote Twin Bridge was destroyed by mine. 

As a consequence, all bus lines in Muse were temporarily halted.

The suspension of bus lines is causing trouble for drivers and passengers. In addition, the bus lines are facing losses due to the traffic suspension, said a responsible person from Winner Bus Line.

Next, the traffic halt will affect some traders who will send their products to Yangon and Mandalay. “As the collapse of Gote Twin Bridge stopped traffic and flow of commodity, passengers, drivers and some businesses got into trouble” said a responsible person from Shwe Mandalar Bus Line.

Therefore, all passengers and local people hope repair works of the Gote Twin Bridge to complete as soon as possible.
