A total of 17 philanthropic organizations in Muse will provide over K 65 million to flood victims in Mon State. The organizations actively participated in collecting money for victims near clock tower and Sinphyu Market in Muse from 11 to 15 August. 

A total of over K 65 million, over 180 bags of clothing, instant noodles, slippers, blankets, bags of rice and cooking oil will be provided to victims in Mon State.

“All the collected cash and relief items from Muse will be donated to those who suffered flooding” said chairman of philanthropic organizations U Thaung Tun.

It was hard to go to Mon State due to the collapse of Gote Twin Bridge and an arrangement is being made to go to Mon State by other means of transportation, he added.
