A ceremony to upgrade a BEMS to Basic Education High School (Branch) in Mingan village-tract in Bogale Township, Pyapon District, Ayeyawady Region was held this morning.

At the ceremony, Mingan Sayaw, Deputy Township Education Officer and an official from Hluttaw Representative Office gave remarks and departmental officials, teachers, students and local people formally opened the ceremony. 

“Parents in the village cannot afford to send their children to the BEHS in another village before opening the BEHS (Branch). We are glad that a BEHS (Branch) was opened in our village” said one of local people.
